SENIOR MENS COACH

Nerang Soccer Club are pleased to confirm the appointment of former Queensland player, Paul Cockbain, as the Premier Mens First Team Coach for 2012.
Paul has been the clubs most successful coach with a number of Premierships and Grand Final Trophies, from both the Brisbane League and G.C.S. competitions. He has coached a number of junior and senior representative sides and was the inaugural coach at Gold Coast City (later Palm Beach Sharks) when they entered the XXXX State League in the late 90's.

The club has also appointed former NSL Player and Premier League Coach Dino Milosovic as Assistant Coach for the 2012 season. Dean played for Brisbane Lions in the NSL and has previously coaches Premier Firsts at Broadbeach, Mudgeeraba and Merrimac.

We would like to thank outgoing coach, Brett Budwee, for his time and input over the past 2 years. Brett has moved onto the representative scene and will be coaching the Gold Coast U19 State Youth League team in 2012 and we wish him all the best for the future.

Nerang Soccer Club Academy

This year Nerang Soccer Club has engaged Graham Hayward to conduct coaching clinics for those players wishing to improve their technical skills and knowledge of the game.

Graham has a long and distinguished playing and coaching career. He is a current Queensland Coach and has been in charge of Queensland State teams for the past 17 years. In 2010/11 Graham coached the Gold Coast U19 Rep team in the Hyundai State Youth League and he has extensive experience coaching junior representative teams as well as Premier Mens sides in both the Gold Coast and Brisbane Leagues.

Clinics will be conducted at the club on Wednesday nights over a ten (10) week period –

U9/10/11 – 4.30pm – 5.30pm Cost $100/course

U12-U18 – 5.30pm – 6.45pm Cost $150/course

Clinics will commence after Easter and more information will be available at that time.

We hope to include a ‘Goalkeeping’ course which will also be run over a ten (10) week period, from 5.30pm – 6.45pm at a cost of $150/course.
